Considering "Kush" and "I Need A Doctor," I think it's great that Dre will probably never release Detox. Those singles…barf!

Talk about a group that hasn't aged well. Only J5 I can get down with is the first EP. Quality Control even disappointed me at the height of my fandom; just sounded too stiff and tedious.

I actually think that "middle-class white critics who liked their rap heroes to be as thuggish, exotic, and 'other' as possible" didn't really start to come into prominence until the 00's, and probably starting in the late 90's.
