BTW, Sam, I actually really like your review of it. In fact, like most things involving Dave Grohl, I really don't watch it for content. The guy's just fun to listen to when he's spouting off about shit. So that last line, yeah, is spot on, but I don't think he cares.

I don't know a single recording engineer that doesn't already know about it. I get it as an e-mail from a different tech every week telling me they're psyched about it.

It's a garage decked out with Dave Grohl's money. Let's not fall for that whole "we made a record in a garage bullshit." They have about 350k worth of equipment in that garage (probably more, considering what tape costs now) and an army of techs to run the gear and cut tape.

That's why I'm stoked for it. That's a hell of a console.

Was the word play between Pussy Riot and "snatches" intentional? Cuz that's gold.

Not to nitpick, but the scene where Brian reads Stewie's play more closely resembles the scene in Amadeus where Salieri reads Mozart's unfinished composition at the behest of his wife. In the scene where he hears Mozart for the first time then stumbles on his music sheets after the concert, an angry Mozart rips them

They're probably setting her up to become Red Arrow.

Smith's stuff is OK. "Quiver" is an interesting storyline, but indicative of what was going on in the DC universe at the time. A bit convoluted and not really that interesting for the Green Arrow character.

The last bit on the island should have narrative implications, particularly given China White's early appearance and the fact that the island bit appears to be based on Green Arrow: Year One. Actually interested to see how this plays out.

The expression "take his own licks" is misused here. I believe Todd means "get his own licks in", which means landing some shots of his own.

It was also talked about when Salladhor Sahn meets with Davos. I believe the line is "the man takes your fingers and you give him your love" or some such thing. Sal is probably be the most faithful adaptation in the series so far. Exactly how I pictured him.

Hey Todd, not sure if anyone picked this up because there are way too many comments, but Arya does indeed become a cupbearer briefly in book 2, before Tywin leaves again and Harrenhall is taken. That's where she gets the Lannister doublet, which she comments on at length. Though this is all from memory -I don't have

I don't know if this is addressed below (I don't have that kind of time), but you totally spaced on why Glenn is concerned about Lori's pregnancy. It's not that she's pregnant but that he obviously knows that Lori slept with Shane, and that this could jeopardize the group's cohesion. Yeah, Glenn gets shit done, but
