Trying to read at least one biography about each U.S. President. On Thomas Jefferson right now so I am reading Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power by Jon Meachem. And since reading about presidents can get tiresome I am also reading Killing Pablo by Mark Bowden and United States of Paranoia: A Conspiracy Theory by

Mostly read non-fiction (out of the 32 new books I have read so far this year only 4 have been fiction, and none of them new). But the 4 books 2013 books I have enjoyed the most:

yes that book was absolutely amazing. I love the whole Charles Lindbergh section, especially all the other attempts to fly across the Atlantic and the successes (and mainly failures). Fascinating the number of people who just disappeared during those attempts.

I still go to the theater, 30+ times a year.  But apparently I live in a much nicer place-I never had an issue with people talking or even cell phones (the occasional person checks their cell phone during a movie).

Definitely my dad, especially for comedy and the classic blockbusters of the 70s.  And classic rock music, though nothing to amazing.

It hit my dad hard.  He got diagnosed when he was in his late 30s.  He was getting around with a walker by the time he is in his mid-40s.  Hip replacement surgery because his hip bone basically "died" (probably because of steroid injections he had to take) before he was 45.  Three or four years ago he was basically

Yes, my dad has it and at the nice young age of 49 he is basically a paraplegic because of that shitty disease.

I think the movie was just bland.  Had plenty of good cast members, an interesting premise, and just was not as good as it should have been in my head.

God I love Ari Graynor so much.  Bad Teacher was not a very good movie, but I am willing to watch the show for Ari..

Going Clear was a great read.  Really enjoyed it and it was pretty damn terrifying as well.

Well this  sucks.  I liked Kristen and Josie is either really terrible or a victim of editing (I tend to believe the former).  Have they ran out of good chefs to be on this show?

No, there was a cake that was suppose to be for the dude's birthday.  That actually happened.

I probably missed the point, but I was surprised to not see The Dana Carvey Show on there.
Only had 8 episodes.  Writers included: Louis C.K (who also produced it)., Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert, Charlie Kaufman, Robert Smigel, Jon Glaser, Dino Stamatopoulos (Star-burns!),  and Dave Chappelle.  Or maybe the show is

I got a bunch of books for Christmas (all non-fiction) that I am going to start reading.  Plus whatever I get on my Kindle with my gift card.

Destiny of the Republic is great.  Guiteau is such an awesome crazy figure in American history.

Currently reading In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Nazi Germany by Erik Larson.  Pretty easy read so far and quite enjoyable.  Tells the story of the Dodd family, William Dodd who is the brand new American ambassador in 1933 to Germany during the rise of the Nazis and how some people

Hi are you me?
Read Better Angels of Our Nature.  Really enjoyed that one.  I like the section about the etiquette books of the medieval times.
