Which is historically a young phenomena, sadly.

I'd argue that "faith" in a grand conspiracy where every institution around (excuse me, across) the globe (excuse me, disc) is lying to you for the purpose of ??? is less faith than it is paranoid delusion.

I don't see how anyone could believe the flat earth stuff, and not also believe that. It almost seems mutually inclusive.

That first post about the oranges is completely inscrutable.

Yeah, with their recommendation logic, I'm thinking it's not such a great idea. Their logic seems to treat last-thing-you-watched as only-thing-you-ever-watch, based on some weird selective criteria.

Yeah, I thought that was the most upsetting part of the whole thing. He couldn't even make it through the moment without gloating about how well he was doing, and noting how the poor guy is "looking down…very happy".

Well, I'm conflicted. It makes me feel reassured that he can read from a teleprompter for an hour without embarrassing himself, which is odd, because it made me FURIOUS when the last president read from a teleprompter.

I don't :-|

You're not supposed to eat that though. It's what they're using in lieu of a bag. But you can eat it.

"I'm hearing very bad things about slavery."

Yeah, I'd say that sums it up.

What I'm saying is that if GOP base voters decided en masse tomorrow that pelicans are our best safeguard against terrorism, the GOP would be the Pro-Pelican Party two days from now.

America is learning about government with their President. Isn't this fun for us all!

Come now, let's not pretend the parties themselves represent any sort of core convictions, at least not beyond whatever bullshit gets rubes riled up around election time.

While I personally do not experience feelings of any sort, I've read that there actually exists a range of emotions between joy and tears of sorrow.

NEW RULE.

Agreed 100%, regardless of Maher's philosophy. I think it's invaluable to have at least one forum where thought leaders from both sides can only debate issues in relative detail, sans talking points and stingy time limits.

Whoever wrote it was a propagandist of the highest degree, so yeah, probably awful. Probably Bannon.

"He doesn't mean he's gonna do it literally. Unless he does. You shouldn't, like, expect him to do what he says always."

I look forward to 4 years of this president referring to weird polls on his website advertised only through fox news as "official national opinion polls."
