Yeah it's this. Things are open to interpretation obviously but it's definitely not about HIV.

I don't think it was No Vacancy but I'm not sure. You're right though it's probably an actual LA bar. I think every location on this show is a real place, from Brite Spot to the cafe where Gretchen cornered her therapist a few weeks ago. They're almost all, if not entirely in Silverlake too.
I always love the LA-specific call outs on this show. I know non-Angelinos won't get any of them but being banned from Alcove is no big loss. So many people have told me their own little folklore and superstitions around The Happy Foot/Sad Foot sign and I actually adopted my dog from the store on Fairfax that deemed…
I have two dogs myself (one looks a lot like a mini Gatzby/Grandpa) and this episode had me by the soul from beginning to end. I've really never seen anything like it before. This episode is definitely Emmy worthy and true potential-fulfilment for High Maintenance.
As the storytelling goes, I love that they used some of the vacuousness of last week's episode to foreshadow that something deeper was going on and that it paid off so vividly.
Between the knee-jerk "privileged white ppl" hate and the "stoner show" stigma a lot of folks are going to miss out on something great.
I just binge-watched every existing webisode of High Maintenance in one go. What a delightful surprise that show is.
How this tone-deaf goon got the job reviewing this show is a mystery to me.
If you had to describe her in three words though…
Yeah you're wrong and this is 100% constructed in your own mind. Do what you want but be aware that this as an internal issue for you.
omg Kill urself
My first instinct was that it seemed like a Real World audition tape to me.
THEY SHOULDA NEVER GAVE YOU NIGGAS MONEY!

Yeah that was just him doing his song Close Edge which was out on 12" single at the time but not yet on an album (if I'm recalling correctly). It was an incredible performance as I'm not a huge fan of Mos Def or live rap in general. What a great way to do it.. and Dave bobbing his head as he drove.

He's a terribly pathetic beta pussy. Marnie is a bit terrible herself but guys like Charlie will always end up tossed aside like that.
I posted something that was already posted. Disregard.
Okay I'm loving these but here again, as in (if I recall correctly) the original review for The Limited (train ep), there is no mention whatsoever of the Trailer Park Boys dudes voicing the mounties. What is up with that?!
This show is absolutely the worst thing I have ever ever seen. It's nothing but shit-bitches and the losers who fuck them. I am seriously considering canceling HBO just because I don't want to, in any way, contribute to something so horrible. And I am not typically a guy who hates things.
