Hell yea!  The first two are just beyond fantastic, so I'll be all over this one.  The hate showing up here for Wilco's contributions is very strange to me.  I like everything on these albums, but tend to prefer the Wilco stuff because of Bragg's over-use of union songs.

You can rent a house out and make money while still owning it.

Because, like "eating a sandwich," smoking meat and woodworking are family-friendly metaphors for what Ted was really doing.  Make no mistake, he really was jacking off in Robin's old room, the show just didn't make it as explicit as "reading a magazine" or "eating a sandwich".  But there was never anyone else in the

AV Club, Noel, I hope you're planning to put your money where you're mouth is and step up.  Let's get a regular column with some sophisticated analysis of the numbers.  I know there's only limited data available, but it would be a start.  If do a good job, it might make accessing new data easier.  I'd read the column!

It sounds a hell of a lot like Journeyman…

I'd really rather you just used this feature to tell us what the best thing on every night is. It feels strange to create a column that has to spend most of its time highlighting lesser shows just because there's more of them.  If we lived in The Brightest Timeline and there were episodes of Community every night,

Vince is also staring in shit (or Chronicle is good, i dunno)

Thing is, the world generally views PETA as shrill extremists, so I can't see their endorsement being of much value either.

Memes aside, I really associate Michael B Jordan much more with Friday Night Lights way more than I do with The Wire.  Maybe that's just me,

I'm agreed with everyone on the show's general quality, but the problem isn't that theres way more talking than action, its that the talking isn't very good.  The characters are bland people with boring thoughts who say pretty much the same things over and over again.

I don't think that's what a plot hole is. If they could all be fixed with a small change in blocking or a different prop, then they're not plot holes.  They're small, technical details that have no real bearing on the plot.  I personally thought, as Gansa pointed out, that nobody caring much about the bomb going off

I'm pretty sure its a CGI wolf. Its just that, because its a shitty movie, all the CGI wolves are unnaturally large and dark.

So if they can do all this and make it look so good, why the hell does Terra Nova look so terrible?

11, and I'm in no way a film geek

Personally, I don't care if people let themselves get swayed by the finale or by online chatter.  LOST was a fantastic experience throughout, and many of its missteps can be chalked up to an understandable failure the show's staggering ambition.  I absolutely loved seasons 4 and 5, following from season 3's fantastic

So if Spacey and his murders are fraudulent and barely worthy of trivia, why are they worthy of a film?

You mean he wasn't just making up a silly name for the river? Holy shit, I completely assumed that sound he made was bullshit.

Why would anyone make a tuning fork that noone can hear??

I too remain relatively unashamed of my appreciation for TEB.  However, time has clearly passed them by.

There was clearly a ton of sexual tension between the two of them.  But while Carrie retained that glow after turning away, Brody looked calculated.  What I think this reminds us of is that while Carrie does resort to her sexuality a lot, characteristic with the rest of her actions, she does so without being
