Sure, most of these shows will be garbage. CC's track record isn't very good on new shows, but they have produced some greats, as mentioned in the OP. Odds are pretty damn good that one or two of these shows will be very much worth watching.

"They" (it certainly won't be me) could, but Lost deserves it more than any other show.

Lost has had lots of crappy effects. They could figure out *something* if they wanted to prove to us that they're one and the same.

I hope, at some point in my life, that someone completely re-makes Lost. They'll tell the exact same story except all the little logistical shit that doesn't make any sense (swimming out of the sub, the bomb, those cheap pilons, etc etc) will be better thought out.
