If I understand what you're saying D, I think that digital cinema is definitely here to stay. I think 3D in particular is still up in the air. People may get sick of the price, glasses, and cheese associated with it. I expect that more than anything it depends on the movies that come out in 3D. If they're able to

Glee is popular now, but it can't last. Its just the brightest, shiniest new thing for people to ooooh and ahhh. (Not that it doesn't have strengths, it does, but it also squanders a lot of opportunity)

I liked that a lot too. NBC sure did come out swinging against other sitcoms tonight, Andy made that HIMYM comment on The Office, and… didn't 30 Rock have something else too? I may have watched too many sitcoms tonight.

Hooray! The show doesn't NEED him or anything, but… hooray!

I am very excited others watched this show and had no idea Jay was in it. I used to throw so much sand into campfires trying to make it look as cool as when they did it.

No offense to Ms Gallo, but Monica Keena was clearly the hottest part of that show.

Two tens can stand next to each other, just as two fives can. Its not like you're introducing some sort of space-time paradox that gonna open a huge rift or something. Girls can share numbers, just like they can share me…

I liked this episode, but not tons. Emmerson was awesome. I'm stoked for Widmore. We got a lot of pertinant information tonight.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Prepare for way too much male (cgi) nudity.

Yea, I really didn't want to care about this movie. By all rights it should be completely devoid of anything creative and just massive CGI. This trailer makes it look awesome though. Its the new Watchmen.

And those are the facts.

This show has really enjoyed showing off those women's bodies during and following their pregnancies. Robin's gratuitous baby bump in 3 Days of Snow and Stripper Lilly instantly come to mind.

At least he has the common courtesy to sleep with women before he kicks them to the curb!

Anyone who was surprised that a fit, 6' plus, lead actor who's already appeared with his shirt off looks like that clearly does not understand any part of the male body.

NBS Thursdays are the best night of comedy in recent memory, probably the best ever.

So much agreed with your first paragraph Dwide. The Office and 30 Rock just need to be more mature shows at this point. Hell, look at the backlash at 30 Rock for not being mature enough and developing/growing its characters. Community and P&R are fucking fantastic, but at this point they're aiming to be what The

Best Picture Precious (I'm counting on vote-splitting)
Best Director Kathryn Bigelow
Best Actor Jeff Bridges
Best Actress Sandra Bullock (I fear)
Best Sup Actor Christolph Waltz
Best Sup Actress Mo'Nique

I really liked the … essay. I'm firmly in the camp that recaps are quite unnecessary and that interpretation, insight, contextualization, etc are far more important and worthy of my time. Kudos Todd.

I'm not sure I have a favourite character, but Danny Pudi is handily my favourite actor. He transitions so seamlessly from awkward geek to Don Draper to that vampire thing, it just blows my mind.

I still don't get the reference - apparently having a snarky internet name isn't enough!
