Its so courageous of that woman to wear fake braces and be called ugly. That takes real acting talent right there.

I completely agree in principle, but there's something to be said for slowly releasing content. If they made entire seasons avaialable in Sept, conversations on this site wouldn't funtion. LOST spoilers would be all over the place instantly. This, along with the advertising thing, would have to be worked out.

This show really sounds like it will be a huge hit.

I can't fucking believe they did a clip show. The first episode back after Christmas is a week-late clip show?!? Really unacceptable.

Yea… the major American awards always give honours to the quality stuff nobody sees… little productions….

I've enjoyed that the show hasn't crammed superfluous plotlines down our throats. (Well a couple, but nothing really major). I find it keeps just enough focus on its major mother-plot that when it tells side stories it doesn't feel like wheel spinning. I do, however, have serious issues with the way Barney and Robin

It wakes her up.

And Marshall did take her back, which wasn't exactly reaching on his part…

Abortion: rational decision for the character, groundbreaking TV

Maybe I'm brain-farting here, but has there ever been an abortion on mainstream American movies or TV? To my mind there hasn't. My prediction is that FNL too will avoid the ire of the Christian Right and Becky will have the child. Too bad since aborting is clearly the best choice for her and the fetus' father.

I''m one of the few who didn't mind the QTE control scheme in IP. I'm not sure what other system you'd use when it has to cover playing a guitar, leaping over giant bugs and cubicals, and playing basketball etc. It was a little too removed from the actual action, but it seems like a minor complaint.

I still love the shit out of that scene. I don't think it looks that bad, mostly because its not flashy. Its just a bunch of dinosaurs eating plants, because that's all you need! I'm hoping a 4th movie is just Sam Niel and Jeff Goldblum walking around looking at awesome dinosaurs being awesome for 2 hours.

I got high with friends and went to the Royal Tyrell Museum in Alberta recently and damn if dinosaurs aren't even cooler now than they used to be!

God all that mid-day Star Trek was awesome. I never had classes then so I could watch TOS, TNG, and maybe DS9 for like 5 hours a day, and I did so like 4 times a week. How I got my degree I'll never know.

I'm hoping that Conan goes to Comedy Central. I'm not sure if it would be at 1130 or not, but I don't think the specific timing is the central concern. No, he wouldn't be a big competitor for ratings, and his budget would be even less, but he'd have to have way more creative freedom. For me, watching Conan has

I misunderstood you then. Couldn't agree more that this episode was great fun fan-service, but a poor stand-alone.

Naw… I think digitalninga is right. I'm pretty sure he made it with Wendy the Bartender. Strong name that.

Don't you own comments disprove your point, casual fan Yeah? I think this ep was intended for those of us who are strong fans, who know, like, and really appreciate the characters. It really felt like fan service to me. So I thought it was great.

No shit. I didn't even notice.
