I know what you mean about the regular last minute miracles on the field. They do set up some really great moments like at the end of last season where they almost win state. If the show can largely move past them, its a good thing, but they do also add a lot of drama.

What is this show even about anymore?
I know its taboo around here, but I really need to complain about FNL. Its really losing focus as a show about football in a small town.

I'll stand up for The Watchmen. Nobody's arguing that it doesn't have major problems, but given the opinions above I don't see how it couldn't be underrated.

WTWTA was as great a movie as could possibly be made from that book. The greatest fault is the limited source material. A happier, more lighthearted movie would have distracted from the entire point of the titled location. In terms of achieving the (very legitimate) goals of the filmaker, it could easily be the

I preferred The International, but don't think either deserve to be on a Top list. The character's endless inability to trust was really well played, and I didn't specifically predict the ending, but the second 1/2 of the movie dragged significantly. I didn't think the leads had much chemestry at all, but then I

FMF was a very good movie. Deserves to be in the top 20 or 30 movies of the year. But not as high as it is here. Where the Wild Things Are was clearly the superior film.

I thought LeBlanc and Perry had great chemistry in the early seasons, it was worth watching (for a while) just for them.
Monica was certainly the worst Friend. Not only was she uptight and dull, but she ruined the Chandler character when they hooked up.

Yea, it does kinda suck when that happens.

He should consider a movie where he plays a real person and doesn't wear a pound of makeup. Now that would take talent.

Hook was awesome.

Paquin can act of course, but I can't comment on this performance because True Blood is really very bad. I'm sure its enjoyable for people to watch, much like I enjoy watching Entourage, or others Heroes, but that schlock is so far from the best show on these days.

These TV nominations are fucking terrible all around.
Apart from Cranston (and Aaron Paul) in BB, some of the most egregious omissions are:
Zack Gilford, Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton - FNL
Ian McShane, Sebastian Stan - Kings
Community
Sons of Anarchy
Mary McDonnel, Katee Sackoff, Ed Olmos - BSG
Lost

I liked that it dealt with the fact that their all smokers, even if it did so clunkily. Most people in their 20s and 30s say they aren't smokers, but then do when they drink, or are stressed, or whatever else. bk broiler's comment is case and point. If their was one thing about this plot this episode did well, it

Sorcerer's Apprentice
Nice to see Jay Baruchel getting a paycheque, even if he is selling his soul for it.

You're expecting wit from a porno?

That's exactly what I thought, except i only saw the WDMC movie and have never heard of this movie/book.
Great visuals.
Some very good moments.
But really, not very good.

She's fantastic,

I'll miss ya TWfS. Your comments were intelligent and helpful. I hope, in your transcendent 10000th post that you were were lifted away from here like Remedios the Beauty to a better place. A place where you have something better to do than post on the internet all day.

I don't actually have faith that things will work out for Matt. His grandmother is the reason he's stayed in Dillon delivering pizzas, and that's not about to change. Other than some money which I assume will come in from the gov't now, I don't see how his situation changes at all, except for being even sadder.
