McNulty had a happy ending. Very happy, considering what might have happened to him.

Also, the ending is supposed to make you question whether MacCready or Childs is the Thing.

Watched it in HD. Never mind; it was just the shadow from the frame.

Watched it again. Maybe it was a lighting/camera thing, because when Gus turns to the driver and says, "Wait here," the left lens looks normal. He turns his head straight and the lens again looks wonky, and then he turns his head to get out of the car and the lens is straight once more.

I just watched the scene again. In the AVC interview, Esposito says that he "chipped the little corner" of his glasses. In the scene, you can clearly see that the lens is mostly intact but not fitted into the frame at all properly. It's pretty much at turned 90 degrees so that it looks like the lens is melting down…
