Drug-sniffing canines? Don't you mean drug-sniffing doggs?

Lisa needs braces!

Best part of the show will be having Reggie Watts as a permanent fixture, even if he's just doing the music.

Well, had this show been on USA and followed the traditional USA formula, one of the "tweaks" I mentioned would be that these people would be using their skills to help the public instead of hurting them which would conceivably solve some of these problems.

Having watched the pilot, the show seems to suffer largely because it fails as an edgy premium cable comedy. With a few tweaks, this feels like it could have been a pretty good USA network type show.

It seems like the show veered off into being pure buildup and I fear the payoff simply won't be big enough. The season premiere was a chance to do something really great but instead it looks like it's just setting the wheels in motion for more unnecessarily convoluted storytelling. The best stuff the show does are

The kid saying "No Papa!" to Gay Eduardo was one of the show's greatest moments.

"A zombie barn divided against itself cannot stand!"

When Penn was confronted about his regular appearances on Glenn Beck's show, he mentioned that if Hitler had a show he would have gone on that too. So clearly he just loves being on television.

I have the weirdest boner…

SPOILERY TALK

The first and third trades of the first series of Runaways is pretty much all that's great/necessary. While the rest of Vaughan's run is solid and Whedon's arc was fun, it already felt like the comic had done everything it needed to by that point and was often going through the motions. Everything past Whedon's run is

They briefly sold those hats at Hot Topic! I have one! I actually wear it in public and it gives me an excuse to talk about Adventure Time all the time.

John C Reilly is really good in that movie and Tom Lennon has a few brief, but memorable scenes, so that movie gets a good grade in my book.

Sorry for not being clear, I meant that they're airing the special every night this week, not a week of new episodes. Besides, a week of new episodes would be insane for a show that has 10-episode long seasons.

There's a China,il New Year's special on adult swim tonight too! And it's on every single night this week at midnight. Please tell me I'm not the only one in love with this show.

@avclub-1df8797177fc3b52be6784aacca7358c:disqus I believe it's around 10k per episode. I know Aqua Teen costs 6k per episode, but that's 11 minutes and Tim is a full 30, so Tim is actually cheaper on a per-minute scale.

It makes sense only because the show is dirt cheap. It's cheaper than any of adult swim's infamously cheap cartoons. Plus some unidentified person who works at HBO said they reversed their cancellation decision because the show is apparently popular with comedy writers.

No way, these men drink Dr.Pepper Ten! Because they're men!

I find that all of ABC's single camera sitcoms (Cougar Town aside because I honestly haven't watched much of it) fall into the category of pleasant, enjoyable television that's not particularly funny. I find it weird to see one article bash Modern Family while another praises The Middle because they're largely aiming
