My biggest issue with it is that Batman has a gun and yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. But it was co-writing by Frank Miller so.

I really think that the easiest way to review Marvel's output right now is to review all of it in one go. So much of it hinges on each other.

Considering they had an intermittent year or so with a frontman they ended up booting because he was absolutely terrible (he's in the video for Memphis is Burning), I'd say that happened.

Matishyu?

Norma Jean (Scogin's old band) would be on the list but their last two records are pretty shitty. But their first one (when Josh fronted them) is a pretty great record.

I honestly never thought I'd see the day
that The Chariot would be mentioned on the AV Club.

I'm saying that that's what the writers are trying to do (make him into an Obama-like figure) and that if the story focused more on the ridiculousness of bitching about a powerful figure (in this instance Superman) not fixing every little problem in the world when he has bigger things on his plate it'd be worthwhile

No I definitely would say you are in the right, El Santo. It's not a spoiler if the "twist" is in the title of the story.

They actually did a long Cult Canon-esque write-up on Point Break around the time Swayze was first diagnosed with cancer.

The best Would You Rather is the one with Michael Cera. I love every episode but that one was fucking brilliant. Through the dickhole, as the saying goes.

@God…

I think this is more Gondry's attempt at a more mainstream movie, which honestly I wouldn't mind since he's one of my absolute favorite directors and I'd love to see him get a ton more work.

Yeah except it was direct to DVD.

I'd feel the same way if I didn't know that Kristen Bell actually had talent and a sense of humor.

Considering you all post Friday Night Lights recaps MONTHS before they air on NBC and then repost them
I don't get why you can't have someone watch the first runs of the episodes and do a recap then and then just repost them when they air over in America.

16 Blocks is almost the exact same conceit (trying to get from one location to the other to stop an event) as Live Free Or Die Hard (Die Hard 4.0 for the international reader) except more low key and a LOT better. Just watch it imagining that John McClane had to go into witness protection or something and view it as

Omar could be the wacky next door neighbor and right before he comes into the house uninvited, one of the kids could say Omar Coming Yo!

I hope the game uses Wii Motion Plus.

I don't think a lot happens in between that time period. Jules takes his leave of absence around the time that Butch is asked to throw the fight. It'd be a short tv show.

all I can say is HAMMER FIGHT. MOTHER FUCKING HAMMER FIGHT.
