I liked Nacho Libre a lot more than I liked Napoleon Dynamite. That being said, probably won't see Gentleman Broncos.

I know people that actually think (or rather thought, I haven't talked to them in a while) that Stephen Colbert was actually a conservative. So it's not too far from the truth.
So realistic that Leatherface will actually come into the theater and kill one audience member.
Landry singing "She Don't Use Jelly"=greatest television moment ever.
This movie definitely does better when you don't have your (now ex) girlfriend bitching about how much it sucks. Sorry for my rash opinion.
Burning house, burning bush…
I'm sure it would, and even I'll admit that my opinion was a little rash but I still stand by what I said for now.
I cried at Where The Wild Things Are. Different people are moved by different things.
Also, Werdsmiff, it's an unseemly mess BECAUSE it's impenetrable. To me nothing put forth on screen works in a coherent way, and winds up feeling like a jumbled mess.
I liked Science too, because I think it fit more with Gondry's mentality and the style he's used in just about everything else. Be Kind fell flat because it felt like just an average movie that tried to shoehorn Gondry's sensibility into it.
It's true! I am those things for not liking this movie! Thanks a lot guys.
Agreed, I'm glad I'm not the only person that feels this way.
I only skimmed the article but see, I've actually SEEN the film.
I think the most obvious comparison, and maybe this is because I watched it before watching 500 Days, is Punch-Drunk Love. Both films set out somewhat with the intention of subverting the standard romantic comedy but I think PDL actually succeeds.
It's also one of the few films that I honestly shut off without even finishing.
As a fan of Charlie Kaufman's work
I absolutely hate this movie. I think it takes all of the good parts of his other work (most obviously the text-as-film concept of Adaptation.) and mashes it together in a giant unseemly mess. It's dense and impenetrable (like your mom haha) for the sake of it and that's why it is…
I can write a hit play, why can't I have a little drink to unwind myself?
I forget the exact scientific terminology, but the reason that most intelligent aliens in sci-fi media have humanoid features (defined head, limbs, torso) is that those features are generally found in more complex/intelligent creatures in nature.
She doesn't say fingerbang, just finger, but she does say fuck with such vitriol it makes me penis retract into myself.
Life Aquatic and Fantastic Mr. Fox are both great films, but it's a shame Wes hasn't had another stroke of genius like Rushmore.
