I've never noticed any music problems in Burn Notice, and I think the wacky score is intentional in Psych, since it's a riff on wacky detective tv shows. I don't watch any other USA shows so I'm not entirely sure on that point.

The one draw back about Monk
and frankly the only thing that made me stop watching it for a while is the score. I love Randy Newman and all, but they would add wacky musical stings at the most inappropriate points, almost to make the show less dark.

Also I dare you to watch that movie and not pop a boner at the pool scene, when she's getting out.

I think she's great in Adventureland because I imagine that character is probably the closest to who she actually is in real life.
