the thing about Scott is, he's not really an awkward teen boy. He's a twenty-something slacker typ in Canada and he's not all the awkward, except around Ramona.

I was thinking the same thing when I heard he was going to be cast as Scott, except Nick and Norah was one book, not a series, and the treatment of the book to film was horrible, whereas I have full faith in Edgar Wright to pull it off.

Asperger's is SLIGHTLY different from autism. It's esentially very, VERY high functioning autism, so an actor needn't necessarily go full autism in order to play the role.
