I'm not sure why action or thriller fans would be disappointed by the movie, honestly. The scene at the hotel, the scene in the elevator. I thought they did a great job with tension and release. One of my favorite movies in several years.

As a native Michigander, I can confirm that it is based out of Michigan. Not widely available in New England, although the dollar store down the street did sell Rock N Rye, Faygo's black cherry cream soda. Which was awesome, because that is the best Faygo.
