Yeah, he played a ton of goofy no-name characters before he became this super serious actor. Also the bad guy in the first Big Momma movie was Terrence Howard! He showed a chilling calm in his part.
The first one was actually pretty good! I remember finding it quite funny. I even bought the soundtrack, which was quite catchy and introduced me to such hip hop heroes as Lil Bow Wow (now known as Bow Wow) and Lil Jon.
