Port of Morrow is frustrating. To me, it fluctuates between glorious pop anthems ("Simple Song", "No Way Down") and complete filler.

I've always really enjoyed The Killers, and actually think Sam's Town is their best album. Gutted "Bones" didn't make the cut.
Chase This Light is an underrated beast.
So much. If Neighborhoods was as good as the opening two tracks of Dogs Eating Dogs we'd have had a belter.
I sadly never picked up Goddamnit until after a significant chunk of time has passed into my fandom. It just never struck a massive chord with me, but perhaps I should revisit it.

I think recent divorcee Matt had some belters in him in 2010. Not too sold on this new record yet, but to be fair I've only had one and a half listens so far.
I personally really enjoyed their last album, This Addiction. They reverted back to their old producer Matt Alison, and it had a more stripped back approach compared to Crimson and Agony & Irony.
It's a shame Dan only gets 3 to 4 songs per album now.
On first listen, quite disappointed with My Shame is True.
absolute tune. I was caught off-guard when listening to an acoustic version of The Gaslight Anthem's "Great Expectations" and suddenly big Fallon started singing Warbrain's verses.
which is a shame, for he's actually a solid guitarist. His work on Ritual de lo Habitual, Nothing's Shocking and One Hot Minute especially.

I actually quite enjoy 'Strays', but I often wonder if it's a generation thing, as it was the first Jane's album I picked up.

That he does. It's a shame he's such a fame junkie.

I bloody loved Chase This Light. I honestly think they've gotten better with age.
