Wasn't the The Critic episode of The Simpsons actually pretty good? Of course, every episode was a really good back then, but still, I don't think a crossover should be harmful to the series, especially considering whatever integrity it was losing in The Critic episode is long gone now.

Arrested Development had a good, fascinating season, but it doesn't deserve any emmies.
