I have been quite aggressively on that bandwagon since the pilot, so that moment killed me, as did Cesare talking sadly to his mother about him, and then referring to him again when hiring Rufio. They were sort of my replacement Jimmy and Richard (from Boardwalk Empire—similar vibe, am I right?) and now I am just

Man, I love him so much. And I love that I read every interview in his voice. And I am resolved to start saying "NEWSFLASH, YOU STUPID FUCKING COCKS!" a lot more often.

I have absolutely no answer for you, as the timing of this show makes no sense to me at all. I don't even know how long it's been since the switch was uncovered. Oh, ABC Fam.

I'd like to think he considered that—I mean, he has an endless litany of small-town references at the ready whenever he's talking about SH (To Kill a Mockingbird, Andy Hardy, Our Town [I think], etc) so I'd like to think he tailored, or perhaps Taylored [man I'm hilarious] the "prank" to be appropriately corny,

Taylor did tell Luke that Jess was seen coming out of the art supplies store carrying what appeared to be chalk. ("You appear to be bugging me.") Given that the 24-hour mini-mart closes at like 8:00 and there's no bar in town, I would assume Stars Hollow is not nearly interesting enough to carry any kind of

The Mia thing plays out a little awkwardly—like, had we ever heard her name before? And then of course in a later season she's played by another actress (though it's the wonderful Kathy Baker) and I just don't know. But I did like the fact that she too somehow knew everyone in town, and that Luke has this adorably

For some reason that title just made think of that 30 Rock episode "Queen of Jordan" and Liz being labeled onscreen as "Liz, Another Person."

Angela describing green as a “whorish” shade

Hooray, glad this show is back, even if ABC Family's giant-seasons-split-into-weird-installments thing still baffles me. Apparently the hiatus did nothing to lessen my hatred of Regina, though—I do love the way this show handles class issues and it does make sense that she'd feel awkward and embarrassed when the

I definitely thought of that. Which was a nice break from all the "LOL DICK IN A BOX" jokes that my brain was blaring.

Oh God, my dear sweet Micheletto. Sean Harris has been killing it [heh] for three solid seasons, but this Pascal stuff has just been too much for my emotions. And Cesare being deeply upset at his disappearance was lovely and sad as well.

Seriously. Considering that this is a guy who tosses out the name "Euell Gibbons" without effort, you wouldn't think he'd have trouble with possibly the most obvious Dickens reference ever.

Well, sure. Liz alludes to dating/marrying several different dudes when she [SPOILER] marries T.J. One could argue that Luke was mistaken and thought Liz's "hot dog king" husband was Jess' dad…except that he seems to instantly recognize Jimmy when he shows up, even though it's allegedly been almost two decades. I

The shot of him pushing him in the lake is awesome—but it always bothered me that Jess had a book in his back pocket that was presumably ruined. Don't take it out on the books, man!

"Whatever you say, Uncle Luke." "It's just Luke! Mr. Luke! In fact, don't address me at all!"

Oh, Jess. I can't really remember what I thought at the time (though my mother hated him, so I assumed I loved him), but in retrospect I like him because he actually showed realistic character growth. He played the smart-but-immature/petulant/angsty teen thing wonderfully (the fact that he's apparently obsessed with Ho

It is stunning how much they Flanderized that character by the end, holy hell. I'm honestly kinda surprised the actor put up with it—I remember seeing him on Last Comic Standing (RIP) and as I recall he had a pretty smart eye for comedy and everything. Sheesh.

It's a pretty slapstick moment, but the guy screaming in terror at Jen's head flying past his window made me laugh until I was crying.

That "borderline erotic fixation" is the reason I will watch this show until the bitter end, whenever that comes. Not even sorry.

"There were twelve exits!"
