Castleroy AND Nostradamus gone in one episode?? I AM NOT OKAY GUYS.

How did Nostradamus have TIME to shave that beard in the, what, 3 hours between Francis leaving and Mary making her announcement?

Oh there definitely are. I was tooling around on Tumblr last night while watching and there was plenty of "Oh look what's-her-name who dumped Leith!" and "Don't talk to that bitch, Leith!!!".

Do you think that made it into the script?

I'm surprisingly sad for poor ol'Lord Peppercorn, now that Leith the new Earl/Duke/Marquis of whatever is heading back to court.

I'm just glad Mary had that plaid prom dress all ready to go for her Scotland party.

True enough!

I gotta say, of all the history this show picks and chooses from, I didn't think "Nostradamus lost his first wife and kids to the plague" would make the cut.

Good points all.

That's what I figured. I just couldn't remember if said lady-in-waiting was in line to the throne somewhere, which made any unapproved marriages possible political movements against Elizabeth, rather than just "Hey, you should've asked me first!".

Not that historical facts matter all that much, but wouldn't Greer/Greer's parents have to run any possible husbands by Mary? Wouldn't Greer need her queen's permission to get married, or was that only if said bride-to-be was related to the royal family?

Oh my god, Sweet Pickles. I haven't thought about those books in YEARS.

She thinks he's her uncle, but we (never they) find out in the prequel that he's actually her half-brother.

It gets better: The kids' dad is actually their mom's *half-brother*, she just thought he was her uncle.

Help me someone, help me please.

I think they just toned down her Limbo eyeliner.

That would be "Dawn". Yeah, fresh from my memory too. (she later marries and has a kid with the guy she THOUGHT was her brother)

Superstitious? That was him, right?

Oh god it's my brother…brother…brother…
