Proposed Castle plotline: Pi dies a grisly death.
That's all I have so far but I think it is solid.

Though it is not that difficult to figure out that Castle will stick to its general formula, I think that is has had some surprises this year. I was surprised that Becket's DC job flamed out that quickly. I am surprised (and pleased) their relationship has gone so smoothly, without a bunch of artificial obstacles/

Can't argue with that.
I do enjoy Adelind. Glad she has her powers back.

I appreciated that they were game to talk about it anyway, especially with McGann and Eric Roberts not participating. The 8th Doctor special was just a tough one to pull off.

Well I guess every Castle episode has the same plot in that they are all about Castle and Becket solving a murder. Presumably the details will vary though…it would be an interesting experiment though for a procedural to just use the exact same script in different seasons but with different locations and character

I think you are right, but that was pretty darn optimistic to think the Rams were going to be strong, or even interesting to watch, this year.

Usually MNF is pretty selective though. You don't see a lot of Browns games on Monday nights for example. (Last in 2009 actually according to wikipedia).

How did they end up scheduling the Rams for a MNF game??

Sure, New Orleans is cool (like most cities in the US it has a Democratic local government) but that is a totally different experience in really every way from living anywhere else in the state.

Blow Out to me is the best De Palma, with Dressed to Kill a close second, Carrie & Scarface a bit back in the pack. Clearly that is my favorite era of his movies anyway. They seemed a bit more personal and surprising as opposed to the more blatant genre-homages that came latter, and the more amateurish & sloppy

Ha, that was not written intentionally as a pun, though I did notice it once I posted but decided it was not so shameful that I HAD to change it. (Mostly I just worried it made the sentence unclear, actually).

The cliffhanger with Sarah being menaced with a pitchfork in "Terror of the Zygons" was probably, for me, the most terrifying one of the whole series.

Sadly though Jindal's decline in popularity seems mostly to benefit his main rival within the state's Republican party, David Vitter, which makes it difficult for me to know how to feel about it.

BBC America is showing their tribute special to the 10th Doctor tonight. As I think has been discussed previously on these boards, these specials tend not really to be especially revelatory for hardcore Who fans. But, I still will watch I think out of respect and love for a doctor who, while not my personal favorite,

Yeah Jindal is pretty astounding. Also at this point even many of the Republicans in the state I think loathe him, largely due to his arrogance, ambition, and charmlessness, but also because his budget cuts are so devastating that they start to affect local programs and institutions and everyone starts to feel their

You prefer Alta Vista?

I tend to agree, especially since they probably needed to end the UNIT era (much as I like it) to start the gothic horror era that to me is the pinnacle of the old series.

Also the crawfish boils are really something to experience.

I have not listened to Light at the End yet but it sounds fantastic and I certainly intend to! So cool to have Eight included with the earlier doctors…

Your point being?
