The grappling hook seemed like such a throwaway gag in the pilot. This show continues to impress.

I thought the motion-capture Gideon robot was a shout-out the Futurama episode with ultimate robot fighting, which had Leela likewise knocking the guy out by having his own robot hit him.

It's called commitment to your craft, people. If the role requires nudity you do nudity. What she thinks she is better than Meryl Streep or Helen Mirren or Hale Berry or Kate Winslet? Or Linnea Quigley? I will never respect an actress who doesn't show her tits. Never!

I would absolutely watch that.

I think Gravity Falls's scheduling is handled by Quentin Trembley (the former 8 1/2 US President).

Of all the inconsistency with how new Gravity Falls episodes have appeared, the thing that pisses me off the most is that they won't even settle on a regular god-damned time for it. I think this is at least the fourth different night/time slot new episodes of the same season have been shown.

The Table Top episodes when Felicia Day plays tend to be my favorites as well, though I almost always enjoy it.

There will never and should never be an American doctor. It would be an utter betrayal of the show's heritage.

I initially read the cohost's name as "Zoe Bell," the Kiwi actress/ stunt woman from "Death Proof." She actually might be an interesting doctor (or companion).

Alright, fine:

Man I am still disturbed by Nicole Bryant as Peri supposedly (in some versions of continuity anyway) marrying Brian Blessed's character. Though I guess at least it got her away from Six, that obnoxious prick.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be cool if they worked the character Frobisher from the Doctor Who comics (a shapeshifting alien companion who takes the form of a penguin) into the BBC series?

I would imagine the new Doctor will be a hot-ish young-ish Brit guy with manic energy that virtually none of us on this side of the pond have ever heard of, since that is how it was with Tennant and Smith, and it is hard to fault that formula.

The killer is clearly some kind of mega badass, taking Ruiz out so easily as well as decrapitating the FBI agent & the rest of what he's done. I could see him being ex-military.

Yeah I really liked Sonya in this episode, believed her crying when talking about her sister's death, liked her head nod to Marco approving of him insisting on being on the ransom drop-off team, and really liked her not wanting to leave the staked out dehydrated/ sunburned girl at the end.

Man, I was sure that Linder had killed that girl, that really threw me. So he is a weirdo protector for illegal ladies and the cartel guy hunting her wants her for very bad purposes. Okay that makes sense, just did not see that coming.

They should bring Brandanowitz back and have Shauna Malwae-Tweep murder him, or maybe frame him for a murder he didn't commit.

Yeah the other day I was idly wondering if, since Community was losing Chase & Glover, something similar might happen on Parks & Rec, either from some of the cast getting itchy feet and/or the network wanting to cut costs. And the first person I thought they could reasonably lose & save a big salary was Rob Lowe, and

Isn't it usually called a "tragicomedy"? It is hard to categorize, like Measure for Measure & I guess a couple of other Shakespeares from the same period.

There is I guess a BBC version of Cymbeline from the early 80s with Helen Mirren as Imogen that I really want to see. This I think I will take a pass on.
