The problem with Runaways is that old people can't ever write young people's dialogue, because when they're unsuccessful, it's just embarrassing, and when they're successful, it reminds you that young people talk like fucking morons.

I hate that X-Statix ran itself into the ground after the whole Princess Diana thing, because people really do forget that it was the most exciting, entertaining, thoughtful title in comics for a while. Beyond hating its readership (which is a compliment), it was just a plausible look at the kind of people who would…

I've never heard of this show, but The Comeback was amazing.

These reviews are getting legitimately confusing. Why on earth are there two paragraphs up there at the beginning talking about the difference between BRAVE SATIRE and FALSE NON-SATIRE in apparent defense of a bunch of jokes about how Sally Struthers is fat?

Wait. I'm confused. Parker and Stone… and South Park…. AREN'T enormously and stridently libertarian? Is that actually a point that's trying to be made by the author of this review?

Man. I just watched again, and they are just SICK. I don't know whose idea it was to try to turn them into the bad guys, but just didn't fit the show. Talent shows should never try to have villains, except when it happens by accident and the actual performers are good people trying their best, like with IB last…

Saltare is a weird beast, because I think those kids were really amazingly talented, and I would love to see them perform live. It's just: One week is not enough time to practice what they were doing.
