Demon Knights is such a good team book in a sea of mostly not good team books that it makes me shed a tear that no one is reading it and it might not be around this time next year.

Dark Horse gets a free pass from me for publishing Hellboy.  They could publish lackluster Star Wars comics until the end of time and they'd still be okay in my book for that one reason.

DC Comics in general for me.  Maybe it's my fond memories of getting into comics through the animated DC universe, but the comics have basically never been anywhere near as good or coherent as the animated versions. I'm not far enough gone to where I'll read any Batman story even if I hate it, but I'm always reading

I thought about picking it up again once Williams was back on art, but the writing is what I've had trouble with (besides those handful of issues where the colorist completely destroyed Amy Reeder's artwork), and that's been a constant throughout the series.  And with Williams doing that Sandman book next year, I

I read the first issue of Dial H and liked it well enough, but not really enough to continue with it.

With the Jesus thing though, it'd be more applicable if Jesus died to save us from our sins, but actually failed to do so.  Since Lin "dies" to save the airbenders but they get captured anyway and all.

I was angry that they basically made Lin's sacrifice in the previous episode—probably one of the most emotional moments of the entire series—utterly pointless.  Oh look, the airbenders got captured anyway.  Oh look, Lin gets her bending back anyway.

The romance subplot has really been bringing the last handful of episodes down.  To think that I was optimistic enough to hope that episode 5 was their way of getting it all out of the way so we could focus on the plot.

I can't really imagine Lin complimenting anyone.  Unless it's a Toph-esque "way to go, [insert demeaning nickname]" following by slugging him in the arm.

I like how Korra has gone from being a loose-cannon vigilante that plays by her own rules to being fairly responsible and going to the police when she has a suspicion about someone, while Lin has gone from the by-the-book police chief to a loose-cannon vigilante that plays by her own rules.

Every time Tenzin and Lin are in an episode, I kind of wish the show was all about the older generation being awesome middle-aged badasses.  I like Korra and the gang well enough, but their storylines just can't compete with the sense of history between those two.
