I usually can't stand Ryan Reynolds but he was perfect as Deadpool. Until they took away his mouth.
Superman II was better than Superman, although the first one was great too. I liked the first two X-movies, and the third did suck, but I liked it anyway. The more superhero movies the better.
As for Cyclops getting

Wow
That looks as good as Nathan says it does.
Random comment: Does anyone else hear a bit of Christian Bale's rant in the "OH, it's good to be back" line?
They even managed to almost make Whiplash look something other than stupid.
Another random thought: Mickey Rourke should play only supervillians from now on. In fact,

EdTV?
When I saw the title I thought this was the Matthew McConaughey movie. Which was also bad. But this sounds much, much worse.

Tiny Lister has almost 150 credits on IMDB, including playing the President in 'The Fifth Element' (forgot about that one).

strange that Skiddoo isn't on DVD. You'd think there would be enough prurient interest.

At least Orson Welles was good
Better than those wine ads. Or the frozen peas. Although one could argue his performance in Frozen Peas was one of his best:

I saw "Fu Manchu" in theaters. I'd completely forgotten about it until now. I was a kid, but I'm not sure if I'd let my children watch it now.

Still waiting for Tecmo Bowl: The Movie
which is only slightly less of a good idea than 'Moneyball.' Michael Lewis' book about Michael Oher, 'The Blind Side', would make a good film if they can find someone to play the lead. But this? Feh.

Caninus. Death metal band with a dog for a lead singer. Great name.

great headline
But will they do a song called "Harvey Keitel's Weiner"?

I should seek those out. I had a Weird Al cassette (the one with Midnight Star on it) when I was a kid that I listened to repeatedly. My kids don't seem to respond to the older Al stuff like "I'm Fat" because they don't know who Michael Jackson is. Although they love "eBay", even though they don't know what he's

going back to old songs
Does Weird Al have to go back to older music like The Doors because so many new pop tunes are kind of tuneless, and/or are just sampling another song outright? Flo Rida, Lady Gaga - not much there to work with.
And my 8 year old loves "The Saga Begins."

And lots of "Whoa-ah". I never noticed how punk bands of a certain political position sing "Whoa-ah" all the time. I wanted to like this but it was so tired. I wouldn't have been shocked to hear lyrics about yuppies and Ronald Reagan.

re: Tasha's comment about the opening death scene going over kids' heads — I took my boys and that's basically what happened. The youngest (4) seemed not to notice and the oldest (8) was unfazed. Both enjoyed the movie immensely.
FWIW, lots of parents agree with scaffnet that "Up" isn't for young children.

I got into NFL football around 2002 after being dragged into a friend's fantasy league. Now it's my favorite sport by far.
The best time I ever had with soccer was seeing Portugal and Ireland play in Foxboro stadium for the short-lived U.S. Cup. The animosity between the two teams was amazing to see in person. I think

I was hoping for Punch-Out with CLIVE Davis
the record exec.
But this looks good too.

Dave Matthews never makes bad movies
so this will of course be a great film. -cough-

Vulcan Mind Meld was all over the original series.

It sounded less less hokey in the late 60's because everyone was on acid.
