@satelliteinternetisskynet good job showing those hypothetical people that they can't have different opinions about categorically completely different things.

There is no evidence that he instigated the conflict.  Following people is not illegal.  He was suspicious because there had been break-ins in the neighborhood recently by someone matching Trayvon's description.  Zimmerman called the police all the time, and very rarely were his previous reports about persons of color.

AVC: My mom is very smart.

You think I'm pedantic????? PERHAPS THIS PEDANTRY WILL PROVE YOU OTHERWISE

That's not what's happening there.

Skyler "just complaining" isn't even true.  She kicked Walter out of the house, she slept with Ted, she sent the kids out of the house, she saved Ted from going to prison by acting like a bimbo, she ended up having Ted strongarmed, she's an essential part of the machine of Walt's current empire (or empire leftovers).

I don't think she did it out of spite, actually.  Skyler was trapped in a situation where she had no control over anything, at all.  The adultery was largely about having something where Walt couldn't control everything about her, she just chose her sexuality.

I still don't see how the early part of this season is significantly different from the back half of last season.

The first Cheech & Chong movie, Up In Smoke, is, in the words of William Shakespeare,

I assumed that the headline was in some way a joke.

Good to know you and your friends aren't funny.

Burton had to accomplish the difficult task of making a Batman movie to an audience that primarily thought of Adam West Batman as the definitive version.  He had to do a lot of work to make Batman at least somewhat more serious, and he did a pretty good job, all things considered.

I have read the book, and I don't think that Depp's take was closer to what was written.  What's your reason for thinking so?

The only thing I dislike about the original is the addition of Slugworth, and the fact that they didn't show that the other kids were OK at the end.  Oh, and I wish the title had been "Charlie".

Seanbaby drives me nuts, because I don't WANT to like him, he seems like an obnoxious human - but, the man churns out unique, funny turns of phrase like crazy.  He can construct the perfect horrendously vulgar metaphor for any situation.  He can come up with 6 equal brilliant ways to say "person X is dumb" and they're

It's really faithful up until they get in the back of the van with the demon.  Then they do a hypercondensed version of the second major arc (which takes place at a shopping mall) and an incredibly condensed version of the second half of the book, and they cut out the very last story arc, which is silly because it

I like Wong's book, and many of his articles, but every time he writes about Video games Wong has absolutely no idea what he's talking about - and I say that as somebody who works in the games industry.

Tom S - I know a guy who isn't into music.  He and his wife ride in the car in complete silence when they go places.  It's super weird.
