I finished watching all the movies from the Aliens, Predator, and Aliens vs. Predator franchises. The idea was to get caught up before "Prometheus" opened, but of course that movie's not going to have any connection with the Predator franchise.

Celebith : as someone who knew little about Evangelion other than "teenagers pilot giant robots to fight mysterious aliens, they suffer severe mental trauma, and the ending is … weird?", I thought the Rebuild movies were great. Definitely recommended.

It didn't seem to me that going into the skilled trades was the sacrifice — joining a trade school that operated more like a cult and made Troy leave his friends was the sacrifice. I suppose we'll see what they do with it next season.

I'm sure it's a meaningful comment to the audience, but somehow I don't think it reflects anything Megan's trying to say to Don. It is a good song for a middle-aged and increasingly out-of-touch ad man to hear if you wanted him to get an idea of where the Beatles were heading in 1966.

Great episode for Elisabeth Moss. I had to rewind my DVR to rewatch Peggy and Don's phone call as soon as it ended. The Cool Whip scene used an old TV trick where a talented actor plays a character who can't act, but it always seems to work.  Not a good episode for Peggy though — I hope they have at least one scene

It gets worse for Dodo in one of the tie-in novels — she suffers a mental breakdown, spends time in a psychiatric ward run by the Master, is homeless for a while, and is eventually murdered as part of a conspiracy involving most of the Third Doctor's adventures and the Kennedy assassination. The Doctor doesn't even

In the West Coast feed, Paul McCartney was replaced by Kim Kardashian, and I think David Brinkley was played by Brian Williams instead.

Oh man, this show is going to be way more expensive to save than Chuck.

Did anyone else think that they'd switched over to the other universe when Olivia and Peter unplugged their electric car? Or am I just behind the times on alternative fuel technologies here?

I guess Collette and Omar's dinner date is cancelled too. Wasn't ruining Duck and Peggy's semiromantic getaway and Roger Sterling's daughter's wedding enough?

This is probably why the RiffTrax gets so much praise - during the long stretches where nothing's happening, at least someone's telling jokes.

Yeah, the animation may be interesting, but it's completely incoherent.

I'm going to assume the natives were speaking English because whatever language the native Americans spoke in Nebraska, the First Nations guys from Alberta they cast don't speak it.

Even the opening credits seem to be aping Deadwood's style.

Zip drive?  Zip drive?  What is this, 1998?

The gas station in Vermont was called "Newhart Gas."  Important? No. Funny? Sure.

I want the next episode to be focused on Sanjeev and Colette's wacky adventures.

Scotch is "whisky" — note the spelling. It's usually spelled "whisky" in Canada too. The Irish and (most) American stuff is whiskey.
