teh dude- Donuts, Seattle has had for a while, way longer than cupcakes. We've even got vegan donuts that are really good somehow.

Seattle has a ton of them too. Then it was/is ice cream for a while. We might actually be moving onto pies, which means Amelie is a psychic.

Running is a bad idea, but I've found, to my dismay, you can't not do cardio of some kind. (I'd much prefer just lifting weights.)

I think the Postal Service would be good workout music for the same reason I think Kraftwerk is good workout music- it has a good, steady beat, fast but not too fast, and is generally pretty catchy. Me, I like electronic music when I work out. I'd never be able to deal with listening to metal.

My favorite for mindless warehouse work is ABBA.

I used to watch a lot of British sketch comedy on the machines before I switched to music. Got through a couple of seasons of A Bit Of Fry and Laurie. British shows are the best because they're just about half an hour, as they weren't made to have commercials. And sketch comedy is the best because it changes quickly.

Describing the teen pop of the late 90s as "defiantly synthetic robot music" makes it sound way more awesome than it actually was. I remember it being kind of boring for the most part.
