Yeah, the whole appeal is the tactile grossness of a lot of it. 'You ain't gonna shit right for a week.' Or somethings as small and pathetic as the dried snot under the kid's nose.
Same appeal with his movie 'Crumb' - a lot of it gets under your skin (his brother eating that string and passing it only to eat it again

When i've watched Little Britain, i get that feeling a bit too - they do drag well, always get a KITH vibe with the racist church lady and her friend.

Don't look back and live in the past. All the hurts and anger you experienced, that still affects your life today - it will not prevent future pain (by 'planning for it by reminding yourself from your past). Don't let it cloud your judgement and let your past hurts haunt you. The only thing it accomplishes is

Man, i never thought Ovetchkin would've been this into Jem!

I was a nude model for photographers for a long time in my 20s (i still do this though as a life drawing model for art classes). I never brought anyone with me (though someone always knew where i was) and never had an issue (after checking with other people who worked with the photographers etc).

My half brother is 24 and just had a child with his girlfriend, who is 45. This is her 5th kid and my brother's gf is his close friend's mother. Yeah it's kinda weird but you know, i just want him to be happy :)

Oh yeah, and this sucks as a single person online. trying to find one person to share a real relationship with and it's all these guys who love their situation at home but just need more and 'i look like an awesome girl to help out with that!' ;) :) :D

I used to have Homer taking Mr. Burn's calls on my answering machine, which really confused my dad who knows nothing of the Simpsons:

Agree - i felt white guilt/embarrassement after the whole Harajuku Girls thing. 'What You Waiting For' though is an absolutely fantastic pop song and the video is still pretty great. Can't say a lot of stuff from the early 2000's is the same.

When i lived in Ottawa, Canada for a bit, i worked with several people who ice skated to work (btw, this is typically not a thing that really happens in Canada as one would expect).

Got a licence once when i was 28, it expired and then have never used it - i'm 36. I'm in a major city, commute out to work in the suburbs (because i hate the suburbs) via transit and i really don't care, i'd rather dump all that money into my retirement savings. No one understands. I used to date a guy with financial

This is awesome, i find it soothing. It's charming, i just heard one of the ads asking people in the store to extinguish their cigarettes in the ashtrays provided in the entrance. I forget how commonplace smoking used to be even in the 80s.

My name is Alison, and i used to work with a guy who would often sing that song while we closed up the restaurant we worked for. It wasn't so great, after working a 11 hour shift at a job i loathed, hearing my name in such a depressing song.

I just don't like him. Half the time his characters are vapid and unpleasant. The dialogue particularly bothers me - stilted and dry and matter of fact. I don't hate any of these things on their own but when put together - and all his movies are crafted to perfection - it's all too scripted and careful and it sucks

I absolutely love Bill Hader, i just don't think this role was funny - it was too over the top and too random - everyone just stood around going 'Ok….?' not knowing what to do. He didn't really add anything.

That's a very Scottish thing as well.

C'est L'ananas, the creepy fucking pineapple from hell!

7 years of french classes at school in Canada :)

*Ding* Ecoute et repete!

Vietnamese food is wonderful. I grew up hating pork chops until i tried the super-flattened and seasoned pork chops at Vietnamese restaurants. It's how they season it or something, but damned if it isn't amazing with rice, a fried egg and sweet/vinegary shaved vegetables. The amount of flavour is amazing.
