I think that might be my very favourite episode of The Simpsons. I especially like the part at the beginning with the badger in the doghouse ("Badger my ass! It's probably Milhouse."). Most people think the first 7-8 seasons of The Simpsons are the best, but I'm partial to the middle 7-8 myself.

Actually, I thought the crossword thing was reminiscent of Douglas Coupland. Has anyone read JPod? He does that sort of thing numerous times. For example, at one point a character gives the others pi to 100,000 decimal places and challenges them to find the incorrect digit. Coupland actually includes it; it goes on…
