Maybe I missed something, but if the ladder was broken, how did Maddie get up in the attic in the first place?

I find it funny funny. But you're not alone. I've heard a lot of similar reactions (and the ratings seem support that opinion, sadly). I think the humour comes more from the delivery (from the excellent cast) than the jokes. I laugh every time Nat Faxon says anything, or Dakota Johnson does that awkward nervous thing

Touche. Although I'm not sure if it aired on CityTV or not. I assumed it wouldn't because it didn't in air on ABC.

This was an example of how to do product placement. It was basically a Ford commercial, but there were a natural flow of events that led to it and made it not feel shoehorned into the show.

I know, right? But it's hard for me to be critical of this show anymore. I just love it so much. Every ep is an freakin' A!

I'm convinced that Nat Faxon can make anything funny. The way he said "It has to do with cultures, Kate!" killed me. And, like @avclub-9cd818ea56273170b63f339aa6f34bca:disqus mentioned, his yells for Maddie were effin' hilarious, like he really thought there was a zombie apocalypse and she was in real danger.

Yeah, I think you're right. But it seems to get lower and lower every year.

Hear hear, hoser! ;)

Well, I wouldn't write it off just yet. I've been following TV ratings for the past few years (Chuck introduced me to the pain of loving a low rated show), and I've learned a few things. One of them is to never underestimate the lucrative syndication market, specifically stripped syndication, which is when a show can

Nah, not really. I don't normally use it to describe myself, but it seems like I've been say "I'm Canadian" a lot around these parts, so I thought I'd mix it up a bit.

I just came here to gloat that, as a Canuck, I saw this episode 2 days ago. CityTV is airing new episodes on Sunday night up here.
