Dutch style from the little booth at a market is the only way I have ever had herring. Served Amsterdam style with pickles and onions and eaten with a small Dutch flag toothpick. The first time I tried it I thought it was awful but it grows on you, the next time I tried it I thought it was pretty good.

"It’s like having a conversation with a seemingly cool, relatable
stranger only to realize that said stranger is trying to get you to go
to the “hip” Unitarian church."

In our family the big standout is "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" by Ray Conniff and the Ray Conniff Singers. I can't remember a Christmas morning without that album and yet I don't think I've every met another person who remembered it at all.

I guess I like the idea of David Lynch but I've pretty much hated everything I've ever seen by him. So maybe I don't like David Lynch at all.

@Will Harris - Tom Jones is one of the patron saints of my family. That being said my entrance song would be Beck's "Novocaine." Let the bass line intro play out and make my entrance when the song kicks in.

Man I hated the original so much but I always felt like I was alone in my hatred of it. Thank you for making feel better.

Wow, I'm really looking forward to seeing how some of these play out. Very interesting and fun list this year.

Licensing saved Lego. They were on a constant decline in popularity until they decided to allow licensed products. I believe Star Wars was first. It literally saved the company.

oh god…Bob Marley Legend…the most over played album of all time.

He's headlining the comedy tent.

It's really not that bad.  There aren't really that many hippies there and there are ways to beat the heat.

I'm kind of glad Mumford is headlining one night so I can skip that show and get some rest.

I already have my ticket.  See you there!

Aw, I love The Girl From Ipanema.

I'm afraid that jam band fans are way more stupidly serious than any other fan base I have ever encountered except for maybe jazz people.

I can't even remember the year, probably around 1998, I used to listen to MusicMatch radio on the old MusicMatch jukebox.  I actually paid a modest fee per month for access to it.  Totally worth it, I discovered so much music that way, both modern and from the 90's that I had missed.

I don't know of any song other than maybe   "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" that will fill up the dance floor as fast as "Groove is in the Heart."  One of my favorite dance songs of all time.
