My library still has fines, but we used to give out special no fines cards to seniors. Some of them took advantage of that and kept new books that had several holds on them for a month or two past the 3 week due date.

They swear up and down that they've already returned the book and then you check the book drop later on in the day and somehow it's magically there.

I started Hidden Figures. I wanted to like it, but it is really dry. I'll DNF it and watch the movie instead. I'm also reading Robert Dallek's An Unfinished Life. I'm attempting to read a biography or book on each of the presidents.

Everybody on Twitter was commenting/making fun of her name. It made me think of Julie Newmar in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, she played a Dorcas.

The best burritos, well the fast food variety, are from Taco Villa. Taco Bell discontinued the Quesalupa, which I thought was ridiculous. The nacho cheese Doritos locos taco should've been on the list. The best fries are from Wienerschnitzel. They don't have those sharp, pointy ends like the McDonald's ones have.

They are overrated. Plus I don't like having to wait 20+ minutes for it in the drive thru. Their spicy ketchup is amazing though. HEB sells it.

Is the AV Club like one of those "I like everything except rap" type persons? Let's not mention any noteworthy hip hop releases, but hey Meatloaf has a new album coming out!

Another fun Ginger movie is Bachelor Mother. TCM always plays it once in a while, I have to stop and watch it every time it's on.
