The Sklars do a bit about how they had to follow Dice onstage one night and Dice was his usual charming self and broke the mike for them. Afterward they would do "Dueling Dices" which make fun of his sad life in nursery-rhyme form.

You'd think it would be the Sklar Brothers getting them.

I just brought up Jaws 3D the other day, when someone mentioned that they don't make jet skis that you stand up on anymore.

BILLY AND THE AUSTENSAURUS

hmm. who else is leaving a project? solving blind items is not my forte apparently :/

My 20+ years of rivethead suffering are about to be validated?

The blind items have it that she was pressured to quit the show by her boyfriend.

If SOMEONE were to write a feature story about this greatest stoner metal fest that ever was or ever will be, they would definitely not be disappointed.

I used to see Pelican at this annual stoner rock fest they used to have in Youngstown, Ohio. In retrospect, can't believe it was actually a real thing. It was the greatest metal fest that ever was or ever will be. I mean, check out those lineups. Pelican. Mastodon. Kylesa. Baroness. Orange Goblin. High On Fire.

I remember when Kurt died and WMMS Buzzard Radio in Cleveland played "Moist Vagina" on the radio for the first and last time.

Everytime I turn on Bluegrass Junction on XM Radio I expect an instant police/lynch mob chase to form behind me, and instantly end as soon as I switch the station back to 90s on 9.

Fucking magnets … how do they mythbust?

She could go toe-to-toe with Kristen Wiig for comedic chops.

And this article should definitely mention the excellent Jim Henson puppetry :)

Being in the height of my Roald Dahl mania when this came out, I was so excited to see what the little boy's name would be, since in the book he has none. Luke was a good fit. It was also the height of Mr. Bean mania.

I remember Teddy Ruxpin having a different shirt than that one in the video.

I also enjoy her lightheated "Cathouse." Both shows have fun saucy music during the segments.

Granted i saw them in 2007, and festivals aren't the most intimate setting. Just something about them seems off-putting … I get Brian Jonestown Massacre trying-too-hard vibes.

Ministry did the giant George Bush heads during Desert Storm/Psalm 69. I guess world-weary ex-rivetheads aren't the best test audience.

I don't understand the appeal of this band, especially live. Saw them at p4k and they had on some tired Rocky Horror drag. Boring and overrated.
