While I love the design of DC's trades and hardcovers, the release strategy is ridiculous.

Because DC was in love with…in this order: Kevin Smith, Brad Meltzer, and then Judd Winick…remember when people were excited about him?

SHIELD's dialogue? That might be its worst element, other than the acting…and the cheap sets that look like the back of the Disney lot. I recognize Arrow is no better in some of these areas either, but its at least shot more competently, and has that flashback story structure that benefits the more comic booky nature

Yeah, I like Batman/Superman alot as well, though the jury is still out on this overall Pak run that's coming, I hope it's finally the worthy successor to Morrison's work that I've been waiting for.

Ehh, I mean, it's a superhero comic, you could do it…but there's some context missing that would help…plus, it's probably DC's best series.

True! Maybe my memory is off, but I don't remember Arrow hitting the low-lows of "0-8-4"…perhaps I've blocked something off though.

I do indeed, otherwise there's a whole other conversation to be had about The Wake and Trillium, and American Vampire to a lesser extent.

I got like 5 books…

And just who has been talking up Lemire's Green Arrow for months? Oh only this very guy :-)

I'm with you, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, and now Swamp Thing are a peak into the kind of comics DC could be making on a regular basis, but don't for whatever reason.

Why did it lose you exactly? I thought it was very exciting and probably the best chapter of that story so far.

Yeah, cause if there's one thing I want to know, it's the name of the person in charge of combing Chris Evans' hair.

Talk about a blessing in disguise. That guy is still the nadir of the show for me…"tight, tight, tighttttt"

I think we're forgetting the most important part….Walt finally built a robot out there in the desert! I knew I should have paid more attention in chemistry…damn it.

1. I'm guessing it's because it was a kill or be killed situation and The Joker of Earth 3 isn't really all that good either.

Excellent! Then that is what I'll take a swing at then! Those Brubaker-Phillips Omnibuses look great on the shelf together.

I think there have been Omnibuses of the first half of his Cap run as @avclub-f73c955e2c1f51451a682f5c1ce0e867:disqus stated (I just have the trades), his entire Daredevil run with Lark, and his Immortal Iron Fist run (which acts as a kind of precursor to Hawkeye since it's the first time Fraction and Aja teamed up I

Alright, so Fatale was amazing as per usual…question for the Brubaker fans in the audience. Should I buy the Sleeper omnibus or the Incognito one? I already have Criminal, Scene of the Crime, and Gotham Central (along with all of his Daredevil and Epting Cap). Between those two books, which did you prefer?

@avclub-f73c955e2c1f51451a682f5c1ce0e867:disqus Whats funny is, even he isn't that crazy about his Defenders run.

Brainiac was a realy surprise, and all of Soule's books was probably the strongest contribution from one writer.
