Well, there is already the Damian: Son of Batman mini coming out that Kubert is writing, though I think it's an Elseworlds tale that basically bridges the possible future he would have had on the way to becoming the Batman of 666.

Ugh, no way, Johns' farewell issue was so back-patting and "atta'boy" it make me sick. I like that Morrison's finale let the story speak for itself.
@avclub-da518aecddbf5c94588f53562012c452:disqus Wasn't Wally West barely showing up Pre-Flashpoint once Barry came back anyway? I'm still convinced the Stephanie Brown thing is related to DC not wanting to use Chuck Dixon creations. The movie was what forced their hand on Bane post-relaunch.
I guess, but I don't think the New 52 itself was the problem. As pre-Flashpoint DC wasn't exactly a high bastion of quality…it just perpetuated problems that were already in existence, though it has given us some bad ass Azzarello writing.
Unfortunately Brubaker's work on Batman is the least of his contributions to Gotham mythos.
Fair enough, but the Sketchers ad like art, and the just awful by the numbers writing (along with the rip-off Zero Year mention) were too much for me.
I'd recommend Batwoman, which I think is a great read and is JH Williams being able to play in his own corner of Gotham for the most part.
Honestly, it pulled me out a bit, so I'm gonna go Nay.
No bridging issue, but it's not really needed. I never bought it.
So, was Dr. Hurt the physical manifestation of the "hole in things" that Bruce referenced? Certainly seems like an idea that Morrison would play with.
But Whedon isn't actually show-running Agents of SHIELD, he's more like JJ Abrams was with Lost. I think Jeffrey Bell is the showrunner…maybe? The trailers aren't inspiring much confidence in me.
In no particular order:
I wish you the best of luck, I hope my Braves get there as well. Just getting to the postseason without having to worry about the stupid 1 game wildcard playoff is enough for me though.
The Silver Samurai stuff specifically, it reminded me more of the kind of thing you'd see in the first Wolverine film and was totally out of step with the rest of the film that preceded it.
I would dig the cross media synergy if Flash, Arrow, and Man of Steel/its untitled sequel all tied into one another. It would at least be WB/DCE paving their own path rather than outright aping Marvel's strategy.
Quicker than Agents of SHIELD though?
He wasn't canned though, he quit.
@avclub-884c4beddd8c98bb3b016bdfcc1bcdf8:disqus Badly shot? You've got to be kidding me with that shit. There are many valid complaints you could levy at TDKR, but to call it badly shot when there are truly hideous DP jobs out there is just ridiculous. Hell, from a technical standpoint, Pfister's work blows pretty…
I have a pretty high tolerance for that kinda thing (sex, violence, whatever), but even that book went too far for me. I had to return it, got The Underwater Welder instead. I'm happy with my trade-in.
And then we have a book like Neonomicon, which is far more grim and gritty than anything he's ever written before.
