The thing that's getting missed here is that the addictions made is near impossible for her potential to be realized, because they kicked in so early, and because she's grown up in an effed up hollywood bubble, which is gonna mess with your perspective and insight something fierce.

Fake Empire was my introduction to the band, and it *claimed* me. Downloaded the rest of Boxer immediately, and just wrapped myself in it. Incredible album at a time when my life was falling apart and reforming in new ways. Was in constant rotation for Nov/Dec 09. Shared it with my dearest (slightly skeptical)

Love Hepburn, love Bogart, love this movie … but am not cool with the BS of them changing his character to "Canadian" because he could not do the cockney accent for which the role was written.
