I'm just going to let Jordo and Trust Me I'm a Doctor say what I'm thinking, because they're already doing it.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about Goodwin and Nathan. Probably because I watched this after watching Person of Interest and meshed the two into one. But yeah, there's no way to get around that…Goodwin flat out murders him; there's no "but he panicked!" indications at all.

Yeah, I liked the idea of the Temple and the Statue, and was disappointed in both. But I love ancient history, so anything that looks archaeological will catch my attention. I'm sad they didn't do more with the history of the Island, but I can understand why.

I certainly can't disagree with that.

I guess my point is, and it goes back to Jordo's statement…if you're going to kidnap a young boy from his father, don't be surprised and butthurt if that father and his friends suddenly turn on you.

Ben admits the reason in the last episode:

Same here. I also expected to be bored by Sayid's flashbacks, because I don't care that much about war related stories. But Andrews is so good in the role.

"Shape of Things to Come". It's almost a tossup between that and "Dead is Dead" for my favorite episode. But Ben taking out those riders and being all bad-ass seals it.

My favorite is "I'm not a bad person!" He knew he was close to eating a bullet.

Except that doesn't jibe with them kidnapping Walt. I can go with unreliable narrator, and Ethan panicking into homicide (and attempted homicide), but Walt's kidnapping was with intent. By doing that, they became bad guys.

He still loves us!

Yeah, I never got it either; I really wanted SOMEONE to acknowledge that the actions of the Others is what set all this off in the first place. We got a half-hearted hand wave that "Ethan panicked", but that was all. The only good things to come out of the Others were Ben and Juliet, and they were often wasted.

Lapidus would have been a lot better if they had actually done something with him.

Also, I think Locke believed that Charlie was "cured" of addiction, like he was "cured" of paralysis. Believing that Charlie was back on the drugs would have gone against what Locke believed the Island to be…in other words, it shook his faith, and he reacted badly.

I think Kate did a lot of little things right, but when she fucked up, she fucked up big. Tends to overshadow the good stuff she's done.

Ah, that was the one, the parachute secret. Yeah, that's when I decided she was stupid. It was also the culmination of a lot of annoyances; her constant "we have to go baaaaack" (whether it was Jack or Sawyer) became "waaaaaaalt"-level irritation for me.

I found Charlie and Eko boring together. I much preferred Charlie and Sayid; theirs was an interesting dynamic.

I think it was right about here I decided that Kate was just kinda stupid. She's tough and strong and has wonderful intentions, but she's impulsive and doesn't think things through.

"the forecast shows a possibility of Gale force winds."

Sorry to hear about the crappy months. Glad she's enjoying it so far.
