Ohh, that would have been neat. Wish that had happened, now.

I actually squealed when I saw that last scene. Knowing this show, though, I wonder if they will actually show the chat. More likely Harold will make some allusions to it. I hope not, though; I'd love to hear or see the interaction.
I've missed the humor of previous seasons. Everything IS so stressful for the characters that there isn't as much banter as there used to be. But this episode made up for it; I haven't laughed that hard at a POI episode in awhile.
That scene made me laugh and laugh. It was just perfect. The third "day 1" notice, a brief glimpse of Harold beating the hell out of a keyboard with a hammer, then static. So funny.
That scene just melted my cold, dead heart.
Oh, gotcha. I forget that learning how Locke got paralyzed hasn't happened yet. I keep thinking it was his second flashback.
Yeah, I would have hated to not have as much Ben/Locke interaction. One of my favorite scenes is in the Orchid, when Locke asks "is this the magic box?", and Ben just gives this little chuckle and sighs, "no, this isn't the magic box". I was pretty much over Locke by that point.
Walt annoyed the crap out of me, then the story arc made Michael annoy the crap out of me, so I was glad the whole thing was finally dropped.
Spoilerish.
You're just super excited to share your girlfriend's reactions. Understandable. :)
I never had much interest in the show until watching Emerson in Person of Interest, so went back and watched it solely for him. And I have to be honest; if he hadn't stayed with the series until the end, I may have given up again. But I would have missed some lovely scenes.
It was around here that I started losing respect for Locke. I get that his story is tragic, but I was disappointed in the long-term arc, despite O'Quinn's fantastic acting. I wanted Locke to be and remain awesome, and he just…doesn't.
Oh fantastic! Maybe now I can actually make some converts.
I've been trying to. I downright proselytize this show. Unfortunately, I haven't yet made any converts; mostly due to the fact that it's hard to see older seasons online (legally).
I would have preferred that too, I think. I would have liked a perspective from more "native" Others (the Hostiles, that is…those who weren't Juliet and Ben) and how they viewed things. I think if we had gotten more from them, maybe it would have better explained things about Widmore, Ben, Richard, the Island, and…
Oh, I liked that line. Maybe more for how Emerson says it, maybe, but I still liked it.
Agreed; season five is my favorite too.
I got the feeling that they were following ideas they thought were neat at the time, realizing they weren't working with whatever overall vision they had (and I do think they had one, they just didn't execute it well), and dropped what wasn't working for them. Then they would go and do it all over again.
Alex was born on the Island.
Ah I didn't remember that. Cool
