Doesn't he reference Drake on I Am Not A Rapper?  Odd Future has def. been around a few years too.

First Amy Klein leaves Titus Andronicus, now Shonna. It's been a bad couple of months for women in my favorite bands. Hopefully the female members don't all leave Wild Flag.

I actually loved the rat funeral episode of Newsradio. It was a great joke about the insane little ideas that small groups can form, like Lil' Sebastian on Parks and Rec.

I second what they said before- Gotham Central is only 40 issues and feels more like Homicide: Life on the Street than a Batman comic. Even if you're not a comics person, check it out.

You think they'll come to Maine? We have a stadium that holds, like, 5,000 people

Pete Rose had a dick?

It's barely comedy.

In case anyone's interested, it was a retweet of Neal Brennan: "Roman Polanski's punishment for sleeping with that woman when she was 13 should be sleeping with her today."

Yeah, after reading the excerpts from her book that have been printed lately I hope it raises her profile to one of those comedians everyone seeks for comments and jokes. I know she is somewhat now, but she should be at Patton Oswalt's level.

I know. What Lowe's store would hire an asshole like him?

… bullet cancer.

Has anyone seen these guys live? They look like high-schoolers. I think I watched them get rejected from the beer tent at a festival show last summer.

I'm not a fan of the musical numbers, but if they occasionally ended episodes with them it wouldn't be so bad. I hated how they killed the show's rhythm. "Laborious" sounds about right.

This sounds like the opposite of Whitney Cummings' problem.

I assume we heard about this because Rabin has a Google News Alert for "Manic Pixie Dream Girl"?  I probably would too.

I agree it would fit in with Walter's arc. In his mind, it was poison that kid or his own children die. We've already seen him kill a girl who didn't even threaten his life- she just threatened to turn him in.

I think A.O. Scott got in the best dig: "This may be the worst movie Pauly Shore has ever been in. Think about that."

AVC: Did Gene Simmons have a lot of weird stories?

Wait for the debate to fire up again during the last BB season, when the action moves to the making of a TV show about the drug trade in the Southwest, and the TV executives are a bunch of caricatures more worried about chasing awards than making good TV. Clark Johnson will play the Vince Gilligan stand-in.

I'm so excited this is a 3-parter. If I have any problem with this show, it's that it feels too rushed sometimes. Having a little continuity saves the show from having to set everything up at the beginning or find a conclusion at the end. I think giving the plot a little more chance to breathe like here and in the
