Book 1 could of really benefited from two more episodes. Make it more of a 4 part finale like Book 3 of the original was. If nothing else just to give more time to flesh out the revelations and not make them seem so forced and sudden.

According to word of god, avatar spirits take on the form they most relate to in life so the real gripe should be why Aang isn't younger. Obvious reason being because his voice actor is to old now. Still a missed moment of awesome with care-free Aang interacting with hard headed Korra
