You have 'books' in your username yet it seems you tend to judge a book by it's cover… Don't judge a band solely by their hits. Never liked Pat Benatars music. Then I saw her in concert and man she has a beautiful voice to this day. That being said, I still don't like her hits.

Perry could do no wrong in my eyes. Heck, I know many hardcore death metal fans who despise Journey as a band, yet hold Perry in very high regard vocally.
