Warrior, the Tom Hardy film. I didn't wholeheartedly embrace its wholehearted embrace of cliche and contrivance, but it was fairly entertaining. Tom Hardy is so good - it's a shame there aren't better vehicles around for him.

Wholly unconscious, you have to believe me.

I had a picture of her on my wall. I was too young for it to be anything sexual, but at the same time, I would gaze upon that picture and know something fundamental was up ahead.

I used to have pretty much all of these Target books. I would read them, and then I would read them again. Still get a huge recall blast when I stumble over a cover in a charity shop.

Here lies the body of Mary Lee,
Died at the age of a hundred and three.
For fifteen years she kept her virginity,
Not a bad record for this vicinity.

All right, mate, I was only 'avin' a larff.

Set fire to a car?

Unironically, as a Geordie, I am able to kick your fucking head in.

Didn't the last one prove a bit controversial? I remember a few comments about Angelina Jolie's mastectomy that must've crossed some lines.

"I'll fuck you right where you breathe, cuz I don't give two shits about you or nobody else." God, I love it. If pushed, I say it's my favourite film.

I'm working class, thank you very much.

Rebel Rebel. To name but one.

It's the mother who sucks fucking big fucking elephant dicks. Pesci wouldn't hold back.

Freak you!

I was thinking of Pete's muttered "Fuck you" to Don's departing back in the pilot. Is this the only fuck in the whole series?

There's that nice, contemptuous "fuck 'em" in Jail Guitar Doors as well.

Bukowski? Now you're talking.

Seconded. Also, honourable mention to The Magnificent Seven: 's fuckin' long, innit?

Peter Cook and Dudley Moore swear in every other second of their Derek and Clive albums, but my favourite is when, instead of saying "Fucking hell", Cook says "Fuck'ell". He's probably just slurring his words, but I liked the narrative economy.

Fanny?
