Years ago, the "Crosetti" dailies showed up on a VHS tape on eBay. Someone from alt.tv.homicide sold it and I think someone else who posted there picked it up. Google Groups' weird loss of posts in the last couple years has prevented me from providing the description of the alternate takes they did. All that I…
I put the bullet out there…
That all makes sense, obviously. Maybe it seems weird to me being in New York where you never hear from anyone on that level of the totem pole, just the commissioner and a level or two down from that.
This may be a sign that I'm a complete idiot, but…
…I never got the feeling that Gee was being insincere when defending Bayliss to the bosses.
laterite-I get that, but who in an elected role is going to benefit from that, really? And how much press are captains doing?
Right, he wasn't just a rookie homicide detective, he was a freshly minted rookie *detective* in general.
Throughout the series, it's made clear that promotions can be driven solely by political bullshit much of the time, especially at the higher levels.

It was cropped 4:3 on SD analog broadcasts, 16:9 widescreen on HD digital broadcasts, and 16:9 anamorphic widescreen on DVD.
This is made clear later in the season when
"I bumped the first disc of this thing up in response to these reviews. It's certainly ok, and does the mission impossible stuff well. It's really frustrating to me though that rolling up this entire branch and all its phsycial assets almost certainly trumps whatever your doubles can do, and is pretty feasible given…
STILL SPOILERS
The Season 4 finale doesn't end on the Lisa-related drama, Nate coming home after it, or George in the bomb shelter. The last scene is the David/Nate Sr. scene on the deck in the rain that ends with Nate Sr. saying "You can do anything, you lucky bastard. You're alive. What's a little pain compared to that?"
I guess this should go in the spoiler area:
MORE SPOILERS, THIS TIME INCLUDING A REALLY HUGE ONE
