I wouldn't worry too much. There's nothing about Netflix's distribution system that demands episodes come out in one huge chunk. If series are better served by weekly distribution, Netflix (or anyone else providing a streaming service) can easily provide it. It's early days, so people aren't really sure what works and

I doubt it's the formula. That formula gave us The Dark Knight. It's more question of mediocre execution, and perhaps a lack of stylistic freedom on sequels. Kenneth Branaugh was allowed to take Thor in a lush, Shakespearian direction, but now Whats-His-Replacement has to ape Kenneth Branaugh's style, rather than

Gender and sex are two distinct things. I don't mind the idea of "boy" stories, insofar as boy refers to gender…

Not so much rumors as ASP saying, hey, the show has a really small budget. But it doesn't sound like anything acrimonious - if they show is cheap, why would they cancel it?

This episode was a straight up A for me. I think it's the best one they've done yet.

Don't think too hard. This is a show that features new characters that speak 10 languages each, are master artisans and somehow have time to DJ and give treatises on philosophy. Brides take wedding pictures on trampolines. Sutton Foster ended a fight with her brother via a ukelele. Characters regularly dance to show

Lawrence almost breaks on "She's super worn out from breeding." at the end of the Girlfriends Talk Show sketch. Not sure why that line didn't get a laugh from the audience…

Maybe that's just her excuse for being incompetent?

The "in accordance with Megan's Law" moment really got me. How does this show manage to surprise me every week? I know that a crazy twist is coming, and I'm always surprised! How is that possible?!

File that under "direct quotes taken from the writer's room."

Todd, you know that you guys review Don't Trust The Bitch… here at the AV Club, right? You could, uh, post a link to it or something…

My biggest laugh of the episode was Beau Wirick's dumbfounded response to that line.

A question this review barely answered: Is it funny?

I was disappointed that Alex hadn't actually clamped the turkey to the counter, thus temporarily foiling Jane's plan.
