Candice Patton is wonderful, and just needs some better material to work with. She was great in this episode.

"The best things in life are free." Don has "everything," but that can't save him from death.
I'm now totally weirded out that Boomerang had Sokka's exact haircut.

I think you've got to dissociate the event itself (which is mostly stupid, although the Quentin Quire UN stuff is great) from the aftermath, which I think has actually been really successful. There's always been an interesting tension about whether the X-Men were running a school or a paramilitary organization. It's…
Is this true? Uncanny has added a lot of new X-Men (Goldballs!) and they just started an ongoing Storm series. Overall, there's a LOT of X-Men related series right now: All New, Uncanny, Wolverine & the, X-Men, Amazing, X-Force. X-Factor, Storm, Magneto, Cyclops. Not sure they're burying them.
Hey, Schism gave us Jason Aaron's Wolverine and the X-Men, which was probably the best ongoing X-Men book since the Morrison/Whedon runs.
This Carolyn Edgar piece actually seems to thread the needle nicely between "it's not really child abuse" and "it's still pretty messed up": http://www.salon.com/2014/1…
In the pilot, Clyde Mardon's brother was also in the plane. I suspect we haven't seen Weather Wizard yet.

Please keep the "Diane chain count" feature, or any sort of running tally of Diane's wardrobe. I never knew how much I needed it until I found out it existed.
Hell yeah for Freezes Over. Azzarello's got some weird stuff going on, but that trade is perfect.
Yeah, this doesn't really fit the "Magical Negro" stereotype. This is a man in a position of power, using that power to strong-arm the main white character into helping him. I'm not sure this guy ever actually helps Constantine. Their relationship is more transactional, and potentially exploitative.
Ra's Al-icity?
Welcome to network late night programming, where diversity means a middle aged white guy who speaks in a funny accent.
So we're all reasonably excited about "Fresh Off the Boat," right? Same showrunner.
The one in the snow, "Freezes Over," might be my favorite Hellblazer trade.
For what it's worth, I think she's great in the Hunger Games films, better than in her David O. Russell stuff. It would have been incredibly easy to mail those performances in with the "standard charismatic action movie star" Tom Cruise template, but she actually brings something to the table.
For what it's worth, Hitting the Fan is probably the best episode The Good Wife has ever done. I'm not sure The Strategy was in the top 3 for this season. (I probably would have gone with The Monolith.)
