Chloe says that she's a "self-proclaimed California raisin heiress." Here's what the website actually said: http://imgur.com/DmLXj
WHERE'S THE SHOW STRING?! WHERE'S COMMUNITY?
@avclub-68b739692fa849e6572ee31610a75750:disqus Jeremy's Iron?
I live in Chicago and this theme song is still my mind's default image of Wrigley Field.
What about Gulls, where 4 white, over-educated seagulls try to find their way through the ice-cold waters and windy reality of Cape Cod?
I love the way this episode was directed:
There's a fine line, both with Canning and in reality, of the difference between always having a brilliant backup plan and doing a really good job of appearing like you always had a brilliant backup plan.
And the shot of both of them, Walternate with a wedding ring, Walter without a wedding ring, totally paralleling each other. I loved that.
Can we talk about how the art and art design on this show is just incredible? A:TLA really nailed the martial arts styles, action scenes and did a very good job of giving their major locations a personality.
When I read your post, I realized that I, ly_yng, liked your post, and so the thing that I did was I clicked like on your post.
"I don't know what 'it' is, but he's got it."
"He's going to be trouble."
"I know. But he's so damn talented."
The main point of Todd's article was that MLP is a successful show for both parents and kids. Korra airs on Nickelodeon. Both are aimed at kids AND adults.
There's an argument to be made that it's actually the 4th season of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's a substantially different show, but it's clearly got the same commitment to complex characters and intelligent action.
"It became legitimately the best show for kids on TV right now"
Hell no, Wiig is crazy talented. Blows the rest of the cast out of the water. She has a lot of crappy, overexposed characters and a tendency to ham it up, but she really is amazingly good at being funny.
Norm!
Jesus Todd, it's a network comedy where Chevy Chase eats a pen, not fucking Immanuel Kant. Do you ever worry you're reading too deeply into these episodes?
They're on it: http://winteriscoming.net/2…
People bitch about the Brienne chapters, but this and her Randyll Tarly "dispensing justice" scene are two of my favorite things in the whole series.
