Good point about the network switch. For budget reason, they would probably trim the cast or make other demands. I agree that if the quality suffers, saving it would definatley not be worth it.

Does anyone think Groupon paid a product placement fee??
When do we get to hear the rest of Frank's touching speech?

I just saw the one episode of the League, and being a man, except for the gratuitous nudity, found it silly and boring. I guess the main reason is the weak premise, based around a fantasy football league. As someone who has played fantasy and won leauges, it isn't that hard to do, and it also gets boring after a while.

I agree that there is Nil chance of this show being on ABC again when it ends, but it could be picked up by another network, Especially with strong ratings the last 3 episodes, and fans have the benefit of the hiatus to talk their friends into watching.

Good episode and the reviewer does an excellent job of pointing out somewhat puzziling
plot twists about how they get on and off the Island so easily. Still, I am already finding myself missing the show and the excellent actors featured. I would like to see Scott Speedman on the big screen again.

Love the lobster as a weapon reference and the speech by Charlie.

As a mid 40's guy who went to see this on a date, and never having seen the other films, it was better then I thought. The 25 YO woman I was with seemed to enjoy it as a fan of the series.

Thanks friend.

A fantastic film with exceptional performances all around. I especially thought Washington, and Kelly Reilly merit award consideration. John Goodman does a very good job playing the likable drug dealer, when in real life, your drug dealer, no matter how likable, IS NOT your friend.

Actually, reading these posts (I only saw the episode today on DVR), what was the story with the sub beneath the trawler? Did they not mention it again? Also, the COB should have been in this episode. Still I give the episode an A grade.
